Elder care is an expensive proposition. At Brereton Manor, we work hard to ensure that your family member is receiving the best possible care in as cost-effective a manner as possible. Brereton Manor offers graduated levels of care allow our residents to age in place and avoid transfer to a more expensive skilled care facility when their health declines.
Our private rooms offer most of the same amenities found at many retirement homes at a savings of up to fifty percent over nursing home costs, depending on room size and level of care. Room rates at Brereton range from $80/day to $190/day, depending upon the care needs of your loved one.
NO ADD-ONS OR UPCHARGES
We are proud of the fact that Brereton Manor does not pad your monthly invoice with “add on” charges for laundry, hair-styling, off-site activities and cable. We have no “Entrance Fee” and there will not be unexpected charges for services you did not contract for. There are weekly religious services at our facility as well as a complete beauty/barber salon. A house doctor, podiatrist and dentist are available to see your loved one upon request. Transportation to and from appointments can be arranged through our nursing office and there will be a minimal charge for that service.
As you compare the benefits of a skilled care or nursing facility to the amenities provided by Brereton Manor, be certain to: (a) explore the services available at each facility, (b) question the staff to resident ratio and (c) be aware of “entry fees” and upcharges that can increase your costs significantly.
